Where the Wildflowers Grow is a photo publication by Michaela Nagyidaiova documenting the life of her grandmother, a woman sent from Greece to Europe alone at the age of four during the Greek Civil War.

The project weaves together archival documents, handwritten letters, family photographs and landscapes into a sustained reckoning with a story that nearly disappeared. There are just 4 copies, designed, printed and hand-bounded from start to finish by me.
